Last night I joined in with Artist hour on twitter, which is also part of a link party hosted monthly by Lianne Williams. A link party encourages us creative beings to draw and then share our illustrations with each other on our blogs. This weeks theme is Coral, during artist hour I drew out and inked most of my Coral Crown illustration then I put the finishing touches to it today.
It was nice to work on a theme that I would never have chosen myself. Working out of your comfort zone can really help to aid your personal development, something I definitely want to continue with this year. Big thanks to Lianne and artist hour for setting this up, it’s a great idea and I will be joining in again. You can view the other submissions on the coral theme here, on Lianne’s blog.
So artistic and pretty, I love the colours you have captured.
You are an amazing artist! I have never been gifted at drawing or in any arty way. 🙂
Thank you Georgie, thanks for coming to take a look 🙂
Beautiful. I love the colours you have used, just like how a coral reef would look.
Thanks Dee, I’m usually not so colourful but I loved using bright inks in this one!
Such a great response to the theme – lovely 🙂
I really love this – I really need to join in with these type of twitter parties as I love painting and drawing but can never seem to find the time. The coral crown is really beautiful – love it 🙂
