Off the Radar

After such a hectic few month’s of general non-stop going’s on, last weekend I managed to drop off the radar whilst in the very quaint and picturesque coastal village of Borth-Y-Gest, North Wales. Signal is pretty hard to come by in this part of the country, I’m not sure 3G even exists, which was refreshing, especially when combined with a gentle sea breeze and an abundance of natural beauty.

Although these photos suggest a calm weekend of relaxing and recuperating, in actual fact the trip was arranged for my sister’s hen, with most of our time spent exploring and being merry in our cosy cottage until the early hours of each morning. Having come home feeling pretty sleepy and not particularly energised, the weekend has left me with a renewed sense of calm. Sometimes it feels good to be disconnected from the rest of society.  Don’t you agree?
