Paisley Patterns

DSC_6431

I had a bit of time after I backed my bags today to jazz up my nails before my hols. It was the first time I’ve tried to do some detailed pattern with my Models Own Nail Art Pen‘s and I wanted to try a paisley design.

I used a purply nude for the base and drew the main design with black which I copied from a paisley pattern google search. I found it quite difficult to get the colour to run smoothly and it was tricky on the right hand but I like the result, I added in a few spots of gold and a coat of seche vite to finish off.

  1. Hi there! Loving your blog, my name is Katie Elliott I am the creator of Tag a Trend.co.uk (www.tagatrend.co.uk)
The website works like this: each week I announce a new fashion trend, and people send in pictures of themselves wearing that trend to tagatrend@gmail.com along with their name, age, town and a link to their blog.
These pictures then appear on our Facebook wall athttp://www.facebook.com/TagATrend and on the Tag a Trend site.
Next week’s trend is ‘Swinging Sixties’ and as I can see you are loving the trend, I thought you might be interested in getting involved and sending in a pic of yourself in something 60’s style!
Your picture will be featured with a direct link back to your blog so is great for spreading the word about your site!
Look forward to hearing from you!
    Katie
